Change of Trading holiday 14 Nov 2013 to 15 Nov 2013
Trading holiday 14 Nov 2013 is changed to 15 Nov 2013. 14 Nov 2013 is observed as normal trading day and normal trading hours will be applicable for NSE, BSE, MCX-SC, NCDEX. At the time of writing this there was no official circular from mcx regarding change of trading holiday from 14 Nov to 15 Nov.

This is with reference to RBI Holiday Notice, holiday on November 14, 2013 is revoked and November
15, 2013 is declared as a holiday.
Consequently, in partial modification of Exchange circular No. NSE/CMTR/79/2012 dated December
17, 2012, the Exchange hereby notifies that –
• November 14, 2013 shall be a trading day
• November 15, 2013 shall be a trading holiday.
Trading on November 14, 2013 shall be as per the normal market timings.

Subject : Trading holiday on November 15, 2013

This is with reference to the notification dated November 12, 2013 issued by the
Government of Maharashtra that the public holiday on November 14, 2013 has been
cancelled and instead November 15, 2013 is declared as a holiday.
Consequently, in partial modification of circular no. NCDEX/TRADING-132/2012/422
dated December 26, 2012, on Trading holidays for the calendar year 2013, Trading
and Clearing Members are notified as under:
November 14, 2013 shall be a trading day
November 15, 2013 shall be a trading holiday for Normal Session (10:00 am
to 5:00 pm) and trading will be only for evening session in Global Commodities
(5:00 pm to 11:55 pm)
Members and their respective clients are requested to take note of the above change.
As it is a common practice all exchanges follow similar timing for trading . Equity markets will remain closed on 15 Nov 2013 on the account of moharram. Trading in global commodities in MCX and NCDEX will be in the evening session from 17:00 Hrs. There will not be any trading in commodities (Agri and Non-agri) on 14 Nov 2013.
