Diwali Muhurat Trading Timings for the year 2014 for Indian Stock and Commodity Exchanges are as below. Every year during the diwali day a special short duration live trading session is conducted on all the stock and commodity exchanges in India. For the year 2014, this trading session will be held in the evening from 18:30 Hrs to 1930 Hrs for continuous trading. More specific timings exchange wise are mentioned below.

Pre Open trading start at 18:15 hrs and ends at 18:23 hrs. Pre open trading session ends randomly in the last minute.
Normal Trading timings are 18:30 hrs to 19:30 hrs.
NSE FNO (Derivatives) Timings for Laxmi Pujan Trading Session
Normal Market open 18:30 hrs.
Normal Market close 19:30 hrs.
NSE CDS (Currency Derivatives) Diwali Muhurat Trading Timings – 23 Oct 2014
Trading in the special live session on Diwali will be from 18:30 Hrs IST to 19:30 Hrs IST.
Practically Normal Trading timings of Equity, Equity Derivatives and Currency Derivatives segments will be same and from evening 6:30 to 7:30. Additionally a pre open session on NSE in equity segment will be from 18:15 to 18:23. (Read about pre trading session details)
